A consumer’s guide to the continent was issued by the FT Weekend Magazine by the end of march. The interested reader was informed about “what to drink, where to eat” and “what to wear while eating and drinking”. Jancis Robinson’s contribution was a who is who in the Continental wine producers scene.
There, together with Alois Kracher of Burgenland Willi Bründlmayer has the honour to represent once again Austria’s amazing wine evolution: “Since 1980 this talented winemaker has transformed 125 acres of terraces, set above the Danube in Langenlois, into a beacon for Austrian wine.”
