It is always a pleasure to receive good press echo in the international media. However we consider it a special honour to be introduced to the Wall Steet Journal reader, by Dorothy J.Gaiter und John Brecher, in the following way:
"Your brother is really into wine and you´d like to get him a special bottle for the holidays, but he already seems to have everything. Great Bordeaux? He ordered futures. New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc? Yesterday´s news. California "cult wines"? They´re as ´90s as trust in the markets. What to do? One word: Austria. Not Australia. Austria.
Our own eureka moment with Austrian wines came a few years ago at an Indian restaurant. On the carefully chosen wine list was a Riesling from Bründlmayer that impressed us so much - it was delicious on its own and even better with the food - that, the very next day, we found out where to get it and bought a case. We had never done that before and haven´t done it since. "
